This website is owned and operated by Aqueous Solutions LLC (or "Aqueous"). Assuring your privacy is a primary concern. Information Aqueous gathers and tracks
Aqueous gathers two types of information about users:
- Information that users provide through optional, voluntary submissions. These are voluntary submissions to license paid or free software from our online store, participate in our forum, or to file a request for a quote, training, demo, online order, or software feature. We use the email address you submit to contact you by email
- Information Aqueous gathers through aggregated tracking information derived mainly by tallying page views throughout our sites. Under no circumstances does Aqueous divulge any tracking information about an individual user to a third party
Aqueous gathers user information in the following free services that require some type of voluntary submission of personal information by users:
- Our site allows users to electronically license paid or free software, or to submit a request for a quote, training, demo, online order, or software feature. In this case, the user submits his name and email address and other information, as appropriate. The information is used to fulfill or respond to the user's request
- Users of the site's forum register separately for this service (which is free of charge) in order to post messages, although they need not register to visit the site. During registration the user is required to supply a username, password, and email address
Children
Consistent with the Federal Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA), we will never knowingly request personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13 without requesting parental consent.
Usage tracking
Aqueous may track user traffic patterns throughout its site. We do not correlate this information with data about individual users.

"Cookies" are temporary text files that contain information about users' visits to a web site. Aqueous does not currently employ cookies on its website.

Aqueous uses any information voluntarily given by our users to fulfill our primary mission of providing geochemical modeling software to users, helping them to apply that software, and keeping users informed about issues that relate to use of the software.

We give users options wherever necessary and practical. Such choices include:
- Unsubscribing from email contact
- Opting to not license GWB software online
- Opting to not submit electronic requests
- Opting to not register and submit postings to the forum, or opting to delete past postings
